This is the new Munchh Boards 'Classic' 36"x8 5/8", the deck is made from top quality
12mm birch ply, hand shaped, finished clear without stain, it is gripped with jessops black grip with the 'Munchh
and flower' logo's hand cut for a real custom finish. The deck is drilled with two sets of rear bolt holes giving the options of a 27" or 31" wheelbase, the deck is
flat with an average flex, I have refined the shape more since the prototype, making the tail slightly narrower and the deck
more flexy.
The board setup and
why?:
Randal II 180 trucks possibly the best carving/longboard
truck on the market and Kryptonic classic K 78a/70mm wheels, fitted with Abec 7 bearings, spacers and speed rings, giving
an extremely smooth ride with loads of grip, lending loads of confidence to the new rider and lots of speed for the experienced,
this setup is possibly the best longboard set up out there.
We have been riding them for some time now and they have
proved to be a great all round board.
Carving is really smooth, the Randals out perform
pretty much all trucks on the market, the 50 degree pivot angle lets you turn tight, but at 180mm across makes
them very stable at the same time. The 70mm 78a Kryptonics give you confidence in their 'stick to the road' ability,
very smooth and great traction (at 13 1/2 stone i can be stood up and can still take corners tight and fast, with no fear
of sliding). If you're upto it a set of harder wheels make it a great sliding board and the length and pump could work
well for even giant slalom?
The 31" wheelbase and Randals give the same if not
better ride than some 40"/45" decks, the birch ply and refined shape has enough flex to give a good pump through turns and
at 36" long it fits in the boot of even the smallest cars, i've slung a shoulder strap on mine before now and ridden
my bike to a nice hill!
I'm really happy with this board and this is why I am now
looking to get Munchh boards out to the rest of the world. I am able to put these together for a pretty nice price, you only have to search the trucks and wheels on e-bay to realise this is a great deal for any skater
new or old and when you find mass produced boards with box standard trucks and wheels, going for £70-£150 at the moment its
such a better deal.
ITS ALL CHANGING AS WE SIT HERE READING, SO THIS IS REALLY TO SHOW WHAT I HAVE DONE, I'M CHANGING DIRECTION, BUT PLEASE
STILL CONTACT ME IF THERE IS SOMETHING I MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO FOR YOU. CHEERS, MUNCHH.

If you have a design for a deck or like a
deck i have made and would like it modified, mail me with your suggestions and i'll do my best to help, thanks for looking,
Munchh.
